I haven’t adopted a teenager, though we have thought about it for the future (when our kids are older, otherwise the teenager would be oldest in our family). I really really appreciate you compiling this. Some of these things were things I wouldn’t have realized had you not mentioned them. Great insight to help prepare anyone planning to adopt a teen.

We adopted a 7 month old baby 5 years ago and then brought home a 12 year old boy and his 6 year old sister just 3 years ago too. This post is SO right on!!
