All over the place

I can’t seem to get my mind to settle down enough to put together a coherent post…so incoherent it is.

Did I mention I’m overtired?  Maybe it’s all the extra exercise I’m getting from teaching Stroller Strides twice a week again.

This was the scene outside of preschool yesterday

Tyler’s halfway to the car with his grandfather. Mia calls him.
Tyler turns to Pop Pop and says, “Wait. I have to do something.”
Tyler runs to Mia, gives her a hug, then kisses her on the lips.
Mia skips off the car while calling over her shoulder, “That’s Tyler. He’s my boyfriend.”

Can you say ‘chastity belt’?

PJ came home early with a fever yesterday.  He woke up not any better this morning.  Mia woke writhing in pain from a gas bubble.  Ty woke up soaked in urine because his Pull-Up wasn’t on properly.

PJ still has a fever.  Maybe it’s strep.  Maybe it’s spiritual warfare since Patrick leaves tomorrow to go to an Orphan Care Summit where more than 1000 people from around the country will gather to get pumped (and educated) about caring for orphans.

I think Ty might have bronchitis.  If I take PJ to the doctor tomorrow, I’ll take him too.  I have no idea how I’ll fit in lunch duty.  I could get a sub but I am the sub already.

We leave Thursday after school for Salem, VA where my brother will graduate from Roanoke College.  I have a lot of laundry and packing to do before then.  Patrick won’t be here to help.  I really wish I was going with him, but can’t wait for the CDs he’ll bring back.

I wonder if the hotel we’re staying at in VA has a pool.  I’ll need something to do with the kids while we’re there in between receptions, ceremonies, and services.

I have about 5 posts floating around in my head. This wasn’t one of them.  I won’t have the laptop this weekend so no catch up blogging while in VA…bummer.

I’ve been pretty obssessive about photography lately.  Maybe it’s the weather.  Coveting other people’s camera and lenses that are better than mine.

Need to spend some more time thinking about Lego Robots next week.  Wish I had more hours in my day.

Here’s to wishing for a more useful and coherent post tomorrow! Cheers!
