They say we call the upcoming season “Fall” because of the leaves. I’m calling it “Soccer” from now on. It’s much more appropot.
This kid scored the only goal for his team Saturday. This is the only situation for 10-year-old boys (or any males for that matter) where it’s perfectly acceptable to hug complete strangers. Go, PJ!
Just to make sure he’d play (apparently 15 year old rec soccer players are hard to come by these days), we registered John in two places. They both came through. Figures. One ended up just being pick up so we let the girls get in on the action. Bring it on!
And this kid finally figured out that he just gets dragged to everyone else’s stuff and sits around. Bummer.
Well, buddy, between Tae Kwon Do (which you do get to do), drum lessons, swim lessons, soccer, drama, and dance, you’ll have to wait for winter (or maybe next year). Stinks to be the youngest of six.
Geez, us homeschoolers need to get out more.
Happy Soccer!
