Who knew a field trip to a quarry could be so interesting? The parents learned as much (if not more) than the kids!
Day 158
Paint the town purple! We’re going to the Super Bowl!
Day 157
Late snack, come out, come out wherever you are! My fridge and freezer need organizational help. It’s kind of like a big scavenger hunt finding stuff.
Day 156
The best way to reinforce memory work is by moving your body. The kids are working out and learning multiplication facts. Thanks to Can Do Kids.
{Classical Conversations} Cycle 1 | Week 16 Science
In addition to the specific resources for this week, we are also listening to Story of the World (SOTW) on CD, watching selected episodes of Drive Thru History, and keeping a cummulative timeline of things we learn in history. I am planning appropriate activities for Mia that are a little less complicated than last year...
Day 155
This is what a sensory kid looks like while he’s doing schoolwork.
Day 154
There’s never a dull moment. We had 2 members of a visiting Tae Kwon Do demo team stay with us for two days. Nice to know the girls’ room can sleep 5 if necessary 🙂
Day 153
Such kissable cheeks. Mia will make a great mommy’s helper, babysitter, and mommy someday.
