I went to an adoption and homeschooling workshop last night. There was a lot of talk about school rooms. I’m here to say you don’t really need one. We have 6 kids in a fairly modest 3 bedroom house without any “bonus’ rooms. We have the standard living room, dining room and kitchen set up. I’m become a minimalist when it comes to school supplies. We store what we need in our front hallway closet and in a small organizer in our dining room. The kids work mostly in the dining room but really wherever they can get their work done. There is a desk in the boys’ room and will eventually be one in the girls’ room, but right now I really only have one independent worker.
