It’s great when the same cool project can be a math and history lesson. Plus, I’d always wanted to figure out how to use an abacus. Turns out it would have been a helpful skill to have a long time ago. How did I get a B.S. in engineering without figuring them out earlier?

The inconvenient thing about having a driveway on the opposite side of your house from your front door is that it can feel like a long walk when you have to take multiple trips to bring in the groceries. The great thing about having 6 kids is that it usually only takes 1 trip now!

Watching the Ethiopians experience science projects such as dissecting crayfish and owl pellets has been entertaining! On a side note, Mia was the only one in her class that would do the owl pellets. She even brought hers home to finish.
