These two are like two peas in a pod. Talk about trouble!
{Classical Conversations} Cycle 1 | Week 9
In addition to the specific resources for this week, we are also listening to Story of the World (SOTW) on CD, watching selected episodes of Drive Thru History, and keeping a cummulative timeline of things we learn in history. I am planning appropriate activities for Mia that are a little less complicated than last year...
Day 84
Grace had a blast chatting with the founders of His Little Feet choir.
When your kids make you proud
Mia tested for her green belt last month. In my opinion, it’s the hardest test for one reason… …breaking with a back punch. I had bruised and swollen knuckles for months after this test. We were praying she would break it with the first try, but she didn’t. It hurts way more when you don’t...
Day 83
We used to live for play dates and getting out of the house. It’s funny how having six kids changes that. Normal life is like a continual play date and, play dates are more like full blown parties. We had two families over for lunch which meant 13 kids to feed all together.
Day 82
With 8 of us practicing tae kwon do and trying to accommodate 4 belt levels, we spend a lot of time at the do jang.
Day 81
We joined a local church Sunday for their orphan table. These bowls represent a typical meal eaten by orphans around the world.
Day 80
Our tropical beauties are discovering the joys of November soccer 🙂
