Day 137

Apparently Ty loses teeth in pairs. The bottom two came out at the same time, and now the top two are gone within seconds of each other (and a little help from Daddy). It’s really hard to take him seriously now 🙂

Day 111

There will eventually be a longer blog post about what we’ve been doing with Ty. For now, I’m going to leave you with this and mention that he’s making marked improvement for really the first time in 3 1/2 years.

Day 101

I think I missed my calling. Do you know I could have charged $12 per face?!?! That was the going rate at our local Festival of Trees.

Day 69

I’ve found it’s really important to intentionally meet Ty’s sensory needs throughout the day or we all pay the price. The newest trick is to lay on him while we do our read aloud for the day.

Day 58

After 3 years, this kid has caught up to “same aged peers.” He was officially released from speech therapy on Friday.  Academically, Ty is doing very well. Behaviorally, he’s almost regressing.
