Baptism Pictures

Would you believe me if I told you that Ty’s been home for 10 months this week?!?!?  It’s not the 10 months that gets me.  It’s how close 10 months is to a YEAR!  In some ways, I can’t believe it’s been almost a year that we were in Korea.  In other ways, it feels like he’s been here forever (except when I mark time with Before and After Ty).  He’s made such huge progress in all areas when I think back to the shell-shocked tornado that was the Ty we brought home.

To date, Ty has …

…been through 3 speech therapists.  (For transition reasons, not because he’s Ty :))

…completed a 9-month course of anti-TB treatment that was the bane of my existence.

…grown over an inch.

…started talking in full sentences.

…potty-trained!! (It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you’re stuck at home for a week).

This past Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating his baptism into God’s covenant family.  The outfit he is wearing is a traditional Korean costume called a hanbok.

Yay TY! Mel, it is so awesome you knew to measure him, find the great Korean outfit, and to follow through with all those Dr appts (I know there were more than you mentioned!!). I think you are ready for adoption #2. 😛
