If you follow us on Facebook, you might have seen Patrick post this photo on our way to camping last weekend. That’s our 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette reaching 200,000 miles. Old Faithful didn’t owe us anything. We actually put another 684 miles on her last week.
Knowing that we were taking two long trips in September, we didn’t want to tempt fate and knew we would have to put Old Faithful to rest this weekend. Because we often take extra people with us and are planning to adopt a sibling group in the near future, we knew we had outgrown our mini-van. Onward and upward to full-size vans. We were leaning toward 12 passenger but there were none to be found this weekend and a 15 allows for a better trunk situation.
Meet Van-go (cleverly named by PJ). We’re considering “Vinny” for short.
