The garden season is slowly coming to a close. All of the Asian Pears are harvested. The apples (evident by a recent taste test) are almost ready. We only got Gala this year thanks to a local dear. We planted a chop suey variety of baby greens recently too. They’ve been yummy with a little Balsamic vinegarette. They were really easy to grow, too. They’ll definitely make a reappearance next year.
Our tiny dancer started her Intro to Dance class on Monday. Mommy started returned after a long hiatus to her dance class yesterday, too. I miss missed that kind of workout.
We saw this breaktaking sight on the to visit a friend the other day. It made me so happy. What a great reminder of God’s creation. All of the sunflowers had their heads tilted upward toward the rising sun as we drove past in the morning. By the afternoon, they looked a little less perky as if they had lost track of the sun along the way. It was a great reminder to keep my eyes fixed upon the SON.
We must have passed at least 6 fields of sunflowers. This is a SOOC shot (no doctoring, extra saturation, nada).
