The good news?
God has provided tens of thousands of dollars to families He has called to adopt. We are one of them.
There is a federal adoption tax credit that will reimburse you over $13k in adoption expenses. Obama’s new healthcare law extended its life and made it refundable even if you didn’t owe that much in taxes.
There are 115,000 kids in the U.S. foster care system* that can be adopted for little to no cost. In Maryland, they practically pay you.
*This system is not as scary as you think but that’s probably another post.
