{Classical Conversations} Lapbook Review

Last year after I admitted my struggle with lapbooks, Karen over at Wisdom and Righteousness, reached out and offered to get me hooked.  Actually she was much humbler than that.  Either way, she agreed to give me a complimentary set for Cycle 1 in exchange for a review and some blog love.

Given Mia’s learning style and that she’s now an independent reader (most of the time), I really think lapbooks will be her thing.  Additionally, this year, I’m going to hold her more accountable for CC memory work and need some easy, non-mom-intense, review tools.  Karen’s lapbooks seem like a great solution!

I’ll admit that we haven’t actually used them yet, and that I don’t plan on using every component, but I think they are a super-valuable, plug-and-play resource for CC families.  There is a component for all 7 subjects of memory work with clear directions.  Each 6 week term is a 3-folder lapbook. While you shouldn’t work ahead, they are a great tool for review and preparing for memory masters.

If you want to try them out, head over to Karen’s blog and tell her I sent you 🙂
