As hard as it is, the key to diffusing most of the behavior problems with our kids from hard places is reconnecting while moving.  No one really feels like playing basketball in the cold with a disrespectful child, but it’s how come back to the land of being regulated.

There are a couple reasons we decided to re-adopt stateside.  The main ones were to change everyone’s name officially and get Grace’s birth date corrected.  Now to back track and change the names everywhere else…sigh.

I have to admit I’d never heard of Kari Jobe before meeting Grace.  When I found out Grace’s favorite singer was opening for Chris Tomlin the week after Grace’s birthday, I knew I’d found the perfect gift.  The deal got even sweeter when we got to get a photo op and autograph after the concert. We now have a 12-year-old in the house.  Thanks, Nana, for making Grace/Ty-Friendly cupcakes.

So maybe a chocolate factory tour was less than considerate given Ty and Grace’s dietary restrictions.  Redeeming factors–1) We learned a lot. 2) Homemade caramel was on the sample list which is not a banned substance. Also, don’t miss the look passing between Grace and PJ.  This pretty much defines their relationship.
