Day 212

Since we first met her, this girls who has adamantly insisted she hates all cheese.  She recently added cream cheese to her diet.  Now she’s timidly eating shredded cheddar.  These are pretty monumental moments in our house.

Day 211

Our older kids have had limited exposure to art.  So much so that they think art is some odd form of torture.  I’ve been trying to incorporate an art lesson into every week that exposes them to a variety of art mediums.  This week we painted our clay sculptures and explored oil pastels.

This was our 10th year at the Amish Mud Sales in PA.  We’ve seen all sorts of weather and added 5 kids to the brood since we first started going.  We didn’t last as long at the actual sale due to Patrick’s back.  The local petting zoo proved rather cathartic after a major meltdown. The fun thing about having a 15 passenger van is that there is always for friends.  Since our Friday friends are also part of our CC Community, we made mini-bows together.  The shot Q-tip arrows and were really fun!
